Counting in French, video no. 7

Bonjour les amis!

Today we are doing some counting in French; at least I am trying to count but Tonton keeps getting in the way!

He is being extra cheeky today and pretending to be asleep.

Watch what we get up to and count along with your children to learn how to count up to eight in French!

So Tonton is actually pretending to be asleep, Tonton dort, but we need him to play so I ask him to wake up, reveille-toi!

I find un cube (a cube) and I ask qu’est-ce que c’est? (what is it?)

Then I find un autre cube (another cube) and that means J’ai deux cubes (I have two cubes)

I keep on trying to count the cubes I find but Tonton keeps taking them away! Où est le cube? (Where is the cube?) Où sont les cubes? (Where are the cubes?)

When Tonton wakes up he pretends he doesn’t know Je ne sais pas! (I don’t know!)

Eventually I manage to count all eight cubes: Un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit

I hope you enjoy counting along. Next time if Tonton behaves himself we should be able to make it to ten!

Don’t forget you can connect with us via Facebook or Twitter we always love to hear from you!

Gros bisous,

Heidi et Tonton x
